Removal of MEE Subjects Reminder

Your boomer boss who told you to read the BARBRI CMR and do 3,000 questions lied to you. The bar exam has gotten insane in 2026.
So insane that the NCBE removed five subjects from the MEE section for no reason:
- Trusts
- Wills
- Secured Transactions
- Family Law (RIP, I liked this one)
- & Conflict of Laws (they didn't really test this one)

So you'll only be tested on the 7 MBE subjects and Bus Orgs (corporations-LLCs/agency/partnerships)
This is NOT just for NextGen.
This is for the legacy or "current" UBE that 41 jurisdictions are administering in July
Is this good news? Maybe. It is less to study but sometimes the NCBE makes the "MBE" subject MEE essays harder because they assume you have a better foundation in these topics.
You are still going to do great though. I removed the subjects from the MEE course that are no longer tested and will be adding more MEE content soon (reach out if you have any requests for sub-topics you'd like to see)
You got this!

Pretty simple. General partnerships are dangerous for this reason.
