MPT - Thoughts and Observations

I've been wanting to do a write up for the MPT for a while and thought now, just days before the bar exam, would be the perfect time.

I sat cross-legged on my meditation cushion, eyes closed, and dictated this module directly into my iPhone's notes app. Reading this module is like staring directly into my soul, so I hope you like what you see.

You can find it in the MEE Course, because I didn't know where to put it.

Pretty simple. General partnerships are dangerous for this reason.

Pretty simple. General partnerships are dangerous for this reason.

We're covering:
- Task Memo & Header: Read the task memo first, then copy its vibe into your “From/To/Re:” header so you look legit from the jump

- Introduction Roadmap: After the header, draft a two-sentence intro that drops a quick factual blurb plus a roadmap of your headings (the “GPS” method)

- TLF Workflow:  T → Task memo, L → Law (grab the test from the library), F → Facts, then Organize. Structure first, freestyle never

- CRAC Structure: For each issue: heading, Rule, Application, (optional) Counter, Conclusion. Easy to remember, hard to mess up

- Counter-Arguments: One line acknowledging the other side (“Although X…”) saves a whole point, don’t skip it

- Time Management: Avoid the “outline meme”: pull framework & start writing before the 60-minute mark eats you alive

The bar is in a few days. Everyone’s freaking out. That’s normal. Stick to the checklist above, trust your structure, and remember: the MPT rewards organization over genius.

Deep breathe, hydrate, meditate, rub your crystals, and go in like you already own that passing score. You’ve got this.
