Intentional Torts: Defenses Part 1

We’re in the Final Stretch, Goats. Let’s Talk Defense.

This is it. We've made it to the last subject in the intentional torts lineup: Defenses.

Find it in the Torts course.

Pretty simple. General partnerships are dangerous for this reason.

In this one, you will learn and love:
- When you can hit someone, and when it becomes straight up assault
- Why timing matters (you can't punch someone 30 minutes later because you decided you were mad enough to do something about it)
- That force must be necessary and proportional
- Why honest, reasonable mistakes can save you
- And why defending your hippo requires a polite request first

We also cover defending other people, your land, and your stuff. And we look at the wild limits of what “reasonable” looks like on the bar exam.
